Ram 2 slots vs 4 slots

probably 4 because it says it will take up to 8 gb's of ram. most sticks of ram only go up to 2 gigabytes a stick so there would probably be 4 slots. it says it comes with 3gb which should be plenty for gaming and whatnot. what are you planning on doing with this computer? i built my own computer and only used 2 gigs and it's a fast one.

The memory controller has to work with 4 sticks in 2 channels as opposed to 2 sticks in 2 channels, thus creating a very small performance decrease.
