Ram 2 slots vs 4 slots

probably 4 because it says it will take up to 8 gb's of ram. most sticks of ram only go up to 2 gigabytes a stick so there would probably be 4 slots. it says it comes with 3gb which should be plenty for gaming and whatnot. what are you planning on doing with this computer? i built my own computer and only used 2 gigs and it's a fast one.

My last two Gigabyte boards (Core 2 Duo / i5 Lynnfield) had the ram installed in DDR3_2 / DDR3_1 or DDR3_4 / DDR3_3 slots, assuming you had two sticks, meaning the sticks should correspond to the color of the ram slot. The memory controller has to work with 4 sticks in 2 channels as opposed to 2 sticks in 2 channels, thus creating a very small performance decrease.
